Official 3rd MAW Marine Air Wing Training Systems Patch

Official 3rd MAW Marine Air Wing Training Systems Patch — Training the Trainers of Marine Aviation

Marine Aviation Training Systems ensures every 3rd MAW Marine is properly trained before they touch an aircraft.

Marine Aviation Training Systems (MATS) under 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing provides ground-based training, simulation, and technical instruction for Marine aviation personnel at I Marine Expeditionary Force installations including MCAS Miramar and MCAS Camp Pendleton. MATS manages the simulators, training devices, and curriculum that prepare pilots, aircrew, and maintainers for their operational roles. From full-motion flight simulators to maintenance training rigs, MATS ensures that Marines are proficient before they work on or fly actual aircraft. Their work directly impacts aviation safety and readiness across 3rd MAW.

Perfect For: 3rd MAW training systems personnel, Marine aviation simulator instructors, MCAS Miramar and Camp Pendleton training staff, and Marine aviation training patch collectors.
