Gilding is how you show the world you mean business.
This official Shovel Knight plush, available in a special gold colorway to celebrate the game's 10th anniversary, was designed by Laura Verdin and prototyped by Eyes5. It's about 10 inches tall and comes with a shovel it can wield in its magnetic hands or sheath at its magnetic back.
