The band was set up outside the walls of Fort Adams (built in 1824) on the North lawn overlooking the bay and the bridge into Newport. It was a tight set with a fantastic old school version of \"In Memory of Elizabeth Reed\" as well as a shortened (no drum solo) rendition of \"Mountain Jam\" that sizzled. \"Preachin' Blues\" - a real rarity - was the highlight along with \"The Weight\" featuring: *special guest, Luther Dickinson, guitarist of the North Mississippi Allstars.
